Attention movers and shakers:
OMDC invites your creative selves to participate in a community of dancers!
On selected Friday nights, OMDC will sponsor an informal opportunity to show your works in progress. Perform a single phrase… a 30 second section… or an entire dance for a relaxed, appreciative group of fellow dancers, choreographers and enthusiasts.
You may request or decline feedback. We just want you to know that we’re here to support and develop choreographers in Omaha!
OMDC would also be delighted to offer you and your dancers a free class as a warm-up!

Omaha Performing Arts and the Omaha Modern Dance Collective join forces this summer for DanceFest 2009, Nebraska’s first invitational contemporary dance festival. DanceFest 2009 will include several area dance groups.
The festival is a weekend celebration of original modern dance works created by Omaha and Lincoln artists, including works inspired by visiting companies from Omaha Performing Arts’ 2008-09 touring dance series.
